Compare the main task in each role
The Academy’s OFM roles guide describes these functions. OFM means OnlyFans management. The summaries here compare responsibilities, not salary offers or a universal job description for every agency.
| Role | Main focus |
|---|---|
| Chat agent | Subscriber conversations and PPV sales in the creator’s voice. |
| Virtual assistant | Scheduling, content organisation and administrative tasks. |
| Team lead | Chat review, coaching and shift coverage. |
| Account manager | Creator communication, onboarding and content planning. |
| Content editor | Editing photos and videos, with related caption work. |
Start by choosing the activities you want to do repeatedly. Liking social media in general does not tell you whether you prefer live conversations, detailed organisation or editing. Read the duties of a specific vacancy before deciding that a job title fits.
If you enjoy writing and responding in the moment
Consider the chat agent work described in the official posting. You need to respond to subscriber messages, remember details, follow an approved persona and make relevant content offers. The inbox can include explicit and difficult messages, so calm judgment is part of the role.
Think about your comfort with both the conversation and the sale. If you like friendly exchanges but avoid every offer, consider how you would learn the sales part. If you enjoy selling but dislike recording details, remember that fan notes and handovers are also listed duties.
You do not need prior chatting experience at Bunny Agency. You do need tested English, a reliable setup and availability for the fixed schedule. Use the beginner page to assess those requirements without confusing enthusiasm with readiness.
If your strengths sit elsewhere
For an administrative role, look for a vacancy that explains which tasks and tools you would own. Prepare examples of organising information and following a schedule. Do not submit confidential material from a previous job as proof of your work.
If editing interests you, consider which pieces you can legitimately show in a portfolio. For creator-facing work, think about how you explain decisions, follow through on requests and keep communication clear. These are preparation suggestions; a particular vacancy may ask for different evidence.
This hub does not list those roles as currently open, publish their pay or invite a chat application on their behalf. Check the official jobs directory for current listings and read the requirements attached to the role you actually choose.
Treat promotion as a possibility to discuss
The chat agent posting says Bunny’s team leads come from agents who meet their performance expectations. The broader Academy guide describes progression through chat work into more senior responsibilities. Neither statement promises promotion to an applicant.
Ask what evidence the team uses when considering greater responsibility. You can ask about feedback, how performance is reviewed and what a lead does during a normal shift. Do not assume a promotion date or salary increase that has not been offered in writing.
It is sensible to choose the starting role because you can do and want to do its current tasks. A possible future role should not be the only reason you accept a schedule or pay model that does not suit you now.
Use the confirmed opening to make a decision
For the chat agent role here, shifts last 8 hours on 6 days per week. The agreement is freelance, and earnings are sales-dependent. The published monthly range is $400–$1,500, varying with the plan, hours and sales. These figures do not apply to every role in the comparison.
If those tasks and terms fit, move to the application checklist. If you need to understand the banking and notice terms first, use the contract and payout page.
Keep your application tied to a specific opening. That makes it easier to explain your relevant skills and ask focused questions. A broad interest in the industry can help you explore, but the decision to apply should come from the actual work and terms.
Vacancy information comes from the Academy’s published opening. Last checked . Pay depends on the plan, hours and sales; no income is guaranteed.
